Save the Earth
I’m old enough to remember the 60’s and 70’s when people were worried about the
next ice age because winter temperatures were getting colder and there was snow
that collected on the ground on January 19, 1977, in Tampa, Florida. I was a student
at the University of South Florida then and I remember that morning very well including
the circuitous path I drove to get to class because bridges were frozen over and
closed.
Now we are hearing about global warming. It does not matter if you agree or disagree
with global warning. Nor if you agree, disagree, or understand the cause. All that
matters is, do you want to save money on your fuel bill?
Saving money, saving fuel, and saving the Earth can be accomplished with cost effective
equipment, thermal cycles, usage changes, or fuel modifications.
Your car fuel mileage could be improved with an engine tune-up, or proper tire pressure.
You could save fuel money by purchasing a smaller more fuel efficient car, or changing
to a diesel engine.
The same can be done with your factory or process.
- What is the efficiency of your current air conditioner or chiller? Have you considered
a more efficient unit? It will save you money and reduce your carbon footprint.
- How are you heating water today? Are you also making steam? Did you consider making
hot water thru other means? It can save you money and save the Earth.
- Are you using compressed air tools? Have you considered electric tools? It could
save you money.
If you focus on saving fuel and saving money you will reduce your carbon footprint
and save the Earth.
